Holiday 1995
Brotherhood, sisterhood and fellowship.
Good will toward all. Its
the season for celebrating our humanity. In
the eyes of the joyous children, in the courage of our sick friends, in the
charity toward the poor let us experience the variety of thoughts, feelings and
actions that make up the human family. Remember
that family and cultural traditions carry with them the meaning of this special
time, and enjoy one another.
Pause in gratitude for the blessings that are yours, and
find the moment to share with those less fortunate. In giving time and material goods to the young, the elderly,
the imprisoned, the disabled, the impaired, the addicted, the ill, the deprived,
the lonely, the institutionalized, the homeless, the down trodden, and those
nameless unfortunate who walk our streets that we reach our fulfillment as human
beings. Join with others this
season to touch another person.
Cold and snow have brought the season home.
Our crews are working; outages are being attended to daily. The real work
of making and transmitting energy, the real work of planning and budgeting, the
real work of satisfying customers and the public goes on even as the energy to
power our friends and neighbors goes down the lines.
While every challenge and success encourages and rewards us, if we
reflect on the very importance of our mission, we can find renewed strength in
the very need for our power.
To care for our employees and their families, we have an
Employee Assistance Program. You
can reach Jeff Faue or Dick Wagner at 201-377-1161 or 908-517-8818.
Whenever you have a problem, need someone to listen, or want some advice,
the EAP is there for you.
May the season bring all good things and the good times
bless you and your family; may there be much happiness and peace in our world.
