Holiday 1994
While the festivities are in the works, while the children
are filled with excitement, while the stores are tingling with bobbles, bangles
and beads, while the chill of winter reaches out for the fingers and toes, while
holiday themes beckon and remind, while the world awaits the joy, peace and
brilliance of the season, let’s cherish our blessings, our families and
friends. In the chaos and cacophony
of homes vibrating with voices of the young and the old, in remembering fond
pasts and longing for the promising future, let’s recall with compassion and
charity those less fortunate.
And when the season’s songs are stilled, and the glow of
the lights are dim, when family and friends have returned to their homes and
their lives filled with daily pleasures and challenges, let’s begin the real
work of the festivals we celebrate: to heal the ill, to discover the lost, to
feed the hungry, to care for the victims, to bring peace to our world, to make
the heart glad .
Commerce, competition , complexity, co-generation -- the
daily labors of our minds and hands require much of each of us.
Whatever our rewards, the knowledge that our raw energy is what drives
our world helps us endure the struggles and challenges.
Our past triumphs and trials pave the way for our future society.
Each and every achievement calls forth pride in work well done, and the
partnership among the many hands that it takes to power the lives of our
customers. Our reliable performance
is critical to so many people’s lives, that is appropriate at this season to
recognize our achievements.
To care for our family of employees, we have an Employee
Assistance Program. You
can reach Jeff Faue or Dick Wagner at 201-377-1161 or 908-517-8818.
Whenever you have a problem,, need someone to listen, or want some
advice, the EAP is there for you.
May the season bring all good things and the good times
bless you and your family, may there be much happiness and peace in our world.
