Free Confidential Professional Assistance

What if my car won't start?  What if I'm late for my appointment?  What if I'm early?  What if I run out of gas?  What if the road's slippery?  What if I get lost?  What if I lose my keys?  What if I lose my mind?  What if I take another drink?  What if...

Questions like these often run through our minds.  But when concerns like these start taking over our lives, or begin to affect our work, our personal lives, even our sleep... we need help.

What is the Employee Assistance Program?

eap2.gif (1587 bytes) Everyone has personal problems.  Most we can handle.  Sometimes we need help.  Employee Assistance provides that help to you and your family.  Whatever the problem, EAP is there for you.  Family or marriage difficulties, depression, drinking or drug dependency, or emotional stress, there are people who can help you.

Employee Assistance can help identify what is bothering you and what you can do about it.  Sometimes it may just need a phone call, or a brief meeting with a caring counselor to help put things in perspective.  Other times, a referral for short term counseling may be the answer.

Remember, this service is free, provided by an outside consultant, highly professional and CONFIDENTIAL.  All information is strictly between you and the counselor.   Most expenses arising from referrals may be covered by company benefits.  The EAP is available to employees and their families.  All it takes is a phone call, our line is open 24 hours a day at (908) 359-8414.

Who can use the EAP?

Because the company values its employees, the company offers this service.   Employees and their families are welcome to contact the EAP.  Every effort is made to make the EAP helpful, informal, personal, and confidential.

Company Policy

Company policy is to encourage, assist and support employees in solving their personal problems, especially when their attendance or job performance is affected adversely.   The EAP is a vehicle for helping all employees with personal problems, whether or not they affect the employee's work.

Employees who use the EAP are assured that the matter will be treated with utmost confidentiality and respect.  Utilizing the program will not jeopardize either job security or advancement opportunity.

Skeptical?

eap1.gif (5781 bytes) Every day people get better; they are in less pain, they find new solutions to their problems.  To live with emotional pain, too much drinking, family problems... is fruitless, debilitating, and time consuming.

The EAP wants to assist you.  Your employer, your friends, your supervisor, your family all want you to get through this difficult time...  Problems that are overwhelming to one person, any person, look different to a professional.

What Happens?

When you call the EAP, there is a confidential discussion and a meeting is arranged at a time and place of your choosing.  Problems are identified, recommendations and referrals are made.  Later a follow up contact determines that the problem was resolved.

There is good help available.  Call. Try us out.  People's lives get better.  Let your life get better today.
